Trinity Avenue Road Closure
Trinity Avenue will be closed at the Hay Street intersection from mid-January 2020 (target date to be confirmed) until late 2021, subject to authority approvals. This road closure will facilitate the installation of future main drain infrastructure and enable civil works associated with the progression of the Waterbank development.
Access to Trinity College will be maintained via a new road accessible from the Causeway through the Waterbank site or via the existing Trinity College accessways on Neilson Crescent and Braithwaite Street.
Motorists travelling from the north and west will access the precinct from the Causeway via the left-hand turning lane south of Hay Street.
Motorists approaching from the east and south will be required to loop around the Causeway roundabout and access the precinct from the Causeway via the left-hand turning lane, south of Hay Street.
Cyclists and pedestrians will be able to access the precinct via a new shared path from Hay Street to The Causeway and through the Waterbank site.
All motorists, cyclists and pedestrians should always follow the direction of traffic management signage and be aware of any changed conditions.
If you have any queries about the works, please contact the Waterbank Community Engagement Team on 1800 596 411 or email [email protected]
